Side Underwater Museum is known as the first underwater museum in Turkey and one of the few in the world. Located at a depth of approximately 12-20 meters off the coast of Side district of Antalya, the museum hosts 117 sculptures divided into 5 different themes. These sculptures act as a natural reef without harming marine life.
You must have a diving certificate to visit the museum which contains sculptures with different themes such as the Battle of Gallipoli, Mevlevi Order, and the sea god Poseidon.
