There are 279 Ukrainian-capitalized Turkish companies in Antalya
Antalya Consul Oleksandr Voronin, who announced that according to the data of the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 279 Ukrainian-capitalized Turkish companies were registered in Antalya as of February 2024, said that Ukrainian citizens are actively engaged in commercial activities in areas such as construction, textile and food industry, information technology, tourism, transportation and the service sector. Voronin said,
"The Consulate is very interested in ensuring that our citizens comply with local legislation in the field of business. To this end, we have organized meetings with the management and relevant employees of the Antalya and Alanya Chambers of Commerce and Industry and introduced Ukrainian entrepreneurs to these meetings, and discussed the latest changes in Turkish company legislation, procedures for registering legal entities and problems that arise during business in Turkey.”
Ukrainians living in Antalya protested Russia's attacks on their country
Ukrainians living in Antalya protested the attacks on their country on the 1000th day of the Russia-Ukraine War.
The protesters gathered near the Clock Tower and carried Ukrainian flags and banners reading "No to war" and "1000th day of war." Ukrainians sang the Turkish and Ukrainian national anthems and protested the attacks with slogans.
Ukrainian Consul in Antalya Oleksandr Voronin stated that Turkey has been welcoming orphans for 2.5 years and said,
"The children have gotten used to Turkey very much, the Turkish side has done everything they can to ensure that the children live here well, they love this place very much. We are always very grateful to the Turkish side."
