My name is Madina Altıntaş. I am from Kazakhstan and I live in Antalya. I met my husband in my hometown Kazakhstan and we got married there, and when it was time for our daughter to go to school, we moved to Turkey.
2) How do you spend your days in Antalya, what do you do?
I try to read lots of books so as not to get bored at home, apart from that I found foreigners like me living here, we meet up and spend time with them.
3) What did you think of Antalya before coming to Turkey?
Before moving, I had been to Alanya twice and I thought I would settle there, but life brought us to Antalya and I am very happy with it.
4) What is the best and worst thing about living in Antalya?
The best part is that it is sunny almost 12 months a year, the bad part is that most homes do not have natural gas.
5) What are the common words between Kazakh and Turkish?
"At, balık, su, tuz, süt, çay", These are the first ones that come to my mind right now, but there are many more.
6) Where in Antalya do you recommend that serves Kazakh food?
Unfortunately, there is no full Kazakh cafe / restaurant here.
7) What would you recommend to someone from abroad who wants to settle in Antalya?
Before moving, think carefully and calculate everything, such as residence, house, work, etc.
Thank you!
