What is Smart Destination?
Antalya’s Smart Destination vision is a tourism concept that optimizes the tourist experience using technology, complies with sustainability principles and increases the quality of life of local people. This concept aims to make tourism regions more efficient and attractive through technological transformation, similar to the journey of cities to become smart cities.
In the first months of 2015, City of Antalya announced to the public that it had started a project to become a smart city in tourism, transportation, health, security and municipal services.
It was also announced that free internet, electronic traffic control system, smart public transportation system, smart tourism points, unmanned service points, smart health service, barrier-free SMS system, smart environment and smart energy systems would be established within the scope of the project.

ICF Airports Mobile: This application provides detailed information about Antalya Airport and has features such as flight information, duty-free shopping and terminal maps.
myAntalya: This application provides general information about Antalya and guides its users on many topics such as accommodation, food and beverage, culture and art events.
Free Wi-Fi Points: Providing free Wi-Fi service in popular spots such as Cumhuriyet Square, Grand Bazaar and beaches allows tourists to easily access the internet.
Unmanned Service Points: Providing municipal services through kiosks allows foreign-born residents of Antalya City to complete their transactions more quickly and easily.
Smart Traffic System: Adjusting traffic lights according to vehicle density prevents both locals and tourists from wasting time by regulating traffic flow.
Public Transportation: Antalyakart application makes it easier to use public transportation and makes urban transportation more practical for tourists.
Smart Health Services: Panic buttons distributed to chronic patients and health monitoring via smartphones provide rapid intervention in emergency situations.
